TWELVE-WEEK PRIVATE COMPANIONSHIP
B E H E L D
For the woman whose life looks right, but no longer feels true.
A private space to be lovingly witnessed as you untangle what is true, recognize the patterns beneath your life, and discern what is asking to emerge.
01 / THE THRESHOLD
Perhaps you recognize her.
She has done so much of what she was told would make a good life.
She is capable, devoted, and perhaps very visibly successful. She has followed the path she was told to: sought the further education, built the career, tended the relationships, gathered all the things, fulfilled the roles.
And still, something within her has begun to resist. The life that looks right from the outside no longer feels wholly honest from within. She feels the pull toward something truer, but cannot yet see what it asks her to release, or where she is meant to place her foot next.
Beheld is for the woman standing in that sacred, disorienting space between who she has been and who she is becoming.
02 / THE HEART OF THE WORK
There is something profoundly healing about being lovingly witnessed.
I do not believe another person can heal you, hand you your purpose, or prescribe the life you are meant to live. But within the spaciousness of sustained, loving attention, we can become honest enough to hear what has been quietly speaking within us all along.
This is the particular work of companionship: a dedicated, intentional relationship with enough continuity to notice what a single conversation cannot, and enough spaciousness for what is true to emerge without being hurried toward an answer.
03 / THE DIVIDED PLACE
Perhaps you are here because…
You know how to live the life you have built.
But you are no longer sure you can remain inside it.
Becoming a mother and discovering that you can no longer meet the demands of the life you built without betraying the kind of mother you feel called to be.
Leaving a career, relationship, faith tradition, identity, or way of life around which you once built your understanding of who you were and how your life was meant to be.
Awakening to desires or convictions that no longer align with the life you have built, and feeling the cost of continuing to live against what you now know.
Grieving the life you worked so hard to build, and confronting the guilt of admitting that, despite all its beauty, it no longer feels like yours.
Questioning whether the ambitions that carried you here arose from your deepest desires, or from the version of you who learned that achievement was the surest path to worth, safety, and belonging.
Discovering that being capable of holding everything does not mean you were ever meant to.
Nothing may be visibly falling apart.
And yet, maintaining the distance between your inner knowing and your outer life is beginning to split you in two.
Beheld is a place to loosen your attachment to the life you learned to perform and attune to the deeper coherence of the life emerging through what’s coming apart.
04 / HOW I ACCOMPANY YOU
If you know anything about me, you know I am a word nerd. I love to discover the essence of a word and all it conveys. Etymologies, translations, and transliterations genuinely excite me.
So let’s be clear...
I am not a guide.
I am not a life coach.
I am a companion.
I am not going before you, or promising that my thirty-six years have somehow been more revealing than yours. Companion comes from the Latin com panis: with bread. A companion meets you beside the road, bringing nourishment for the journey. She does not stand above you with answers. She walks alongside you as you find your own faithful way forward.
One of the gifts I bring is an ability to hold many seemingly disparate threads at once and to notice recurring patterns, tensions, images, and longings, and recognize the coherence beginning to form among them.
I offer what I see back as a mirror: something for you to encounter, question, and recognize for yourself. You remain the one who discerns what is true and how you are being called to live it.
05 / WHAT OUR TIME MAY HOLD
No fixed curriculum.
No prescribed ending.
Together, we’ll create space to slow down, untangle what is true, notice the patterns shaping your life, and listen for what is asking to emerge. Every companionship takes its own shape.
Depending on what genuinely serves your process, our conversations may be accompanied by contemplative practices, journaling, sacred texts and traditions, symbolism, astrological reflection, or other forms of inquiry.
The purpose is not to give you another framework through which to judge yourself. It is to help you hear more clearly what you already, quietly, know.
06 / THE CONTAINER
Twelve weeks
of faithful attention.
An intimate one-to-one companionship with enough time and continuity for what is beneath the surface to reveal itself.
Our time will tend to move through three overlapping movements: deconstruction, exploration, and reconstruction. Not as a rigid curriculum, but as a natural rhythm for releasing what is no longer true, discovering what is, and beginning to live from it.
Deconstruction
Question inherited scripts, roles, and assumptions.
Exploration
Follow the patterns, tensions, and longings asking for attention.
Reconstruction
Bring what is true into faithful, embodied choices.
Twelve private 60-minute conversations, held weekly
Ongoing voice-note access between conversations for what arises in real time
Personal reflections, questions, or contemplative practices shaped around your unfolding process
A living map of the recurring patterns, tensions, images, and longings we notice together
A closing synthesis gathering what has been released, revealed, and consciously reclaimed
INVESTMENT
$1,200
in three payments of $400
Beheld is envisioned as a complete twelve-week journey. We will pause after weeks four and eight to discern whether continuing remains aligned. You will never be financially committed to a four-week period you have not yet entered.
WHO WILL BEHOLD YOU?
Not someone standing above your becoming, but a woman willing to meet you honestly within it.
I’m April , a mother, writer, contemplative, and lifelong seeker.
For more than a decade, I have explored the questions at the heart of Beheld through faith traditions, psychology, physiology, contemplative practice, metaphysics, and the relationship between mind, body, and spirit. Along the way, I have led and ministered to middle-school students in the church, held women in ceremony, and become certified in yoga and Reiki. But my deepest formation has come through allowing life itself to rearrange me.
Motherhood was the threshold that stripped me raw. I had built a successful career earning nearly a quarter of a million dollars a year. By every visible measure, I had created the life I was supposed to want. Yet the distance between the life I was performing and the life asking to be lived had become impossible to sustain. I left without a perfect vision of what would replace it, only the growing certainty that remaining would require me to abandon something essential within myself.
I know what it is to stand between identities, to follow an inner knowing before it can offer proof, and to discover that what appears to be an unraveling may contain a deeper coherence.
Women have long trusted me with the questions beneath their questions. My gift is to listen beneath the story, recognize the patterns moving through it, and reflect what can be difficult to see from inside your own becoming.
In Their Words
“No amount of therapy or coaching came close to the clarity and closure you provided for me this summer. I finally feel like I can confidently shed the old version of myself divided between two identities and step into the authentic, embodied version of myself. Can’t thank you enough for being my guide 🙏🏽.”
07 / A SPACIOUS SPIRITUAL HOME
Rooted, but never
imposed.
My own life and way of seeing are rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, but this companionship does not require you to share my language or beliefs. Women of any faith tradition, as well as women still finding their relationship to faith, are welcome here.
Your spiritual life will be met with curiosity, reverence, and care.
TWO COMPANIONSHIPS ARE OPENING
Perhaps our paths are meant to meet here.
Beheld is intimate by design. I am opening space for two women and will begin each companionship when the right woman arrives. The first step is a thoughtful application, followed by a conversation to discern whether we are well matched for this work.
09 / AN OPENING CONVERSATION
Begin by telling me what brings you here.
This is not an audition, and there are no perfect answers. It is simply the first place for me to meet you with attention and begin discerning whether Beheld may be meaningful for us both.
What Happens Next
I will reach out personally.
I read every application personally and prayerfully. If I sense that Beheld may be a meaningful fit, I will contact you to schedule a private discovery call. That conversation is a space for both of us to discern whether we are meant to walk together. Applying does not obligate either of us to continue.
