🍍 Honey-Pineapple Teriyaki Glaze
A bright, tangy-sweet glaze perfect for summer grilling or a nourishing rice bowl. Makes for a delicious, family-friendly marinade for chicken, salmon or even ground pork.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh pineapple, puréed
2 tbsp raw honey
2 tbsp coconut aminos (or tamari for more depth)
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: pinch of chili flakes or dash of fish sauce for added umami
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Brush onto grilled chicken, salmon, or vegetables—or use as a marinade (I’ll let my protein marinate for at least 2 hours, but overnight is best if you can think that far ahead!)
Store leftovers in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Nourishment Note: Fresh pineapple contains bromelain, a natural digestive enzyme that supports inflammation reduction and gut health. Combined with raw honey and ginger, this glaze doesn’t just taste good—it nourishes from the inside out.
